Wicomico Co. man sentenced to 75 years for sexually abusing minor

SALISBURY, Md. – A Wicomico County man has been sentenced to 75 years in prison for sexually abusing a minor.

59-year-old Robert Hill Jr. was convicted back in October of two counts of sex abuse of a minor, two counts of second degree rape, three counts of third degree sex offense, three counts of fourth degree sex offense, and four counts of second degree assault.

The charges stem from an investigation that revealed that from 2018 through 2021, Hill sexually abused a minor under the age of 11.

Hill was also determined to be a sexually violent predator, and if he is ever released, he will be subject to lifetime sexual offender supervision and will be required to register as a Tier III sexual offender for life.
