Wicomico Co. man convicted of sexually abusing minor
SALISBURY, Md. – A Wicomico County man has been convicted of sexually abusing a minor.
On Wednesday, a jury convicted 33-year-old Aaron Vangorder of two counts of sex abuse of a minor, two counts of third degree sex offense, two counts of fourth degree sex offense, three counts of second degree assault, and sexual solicitation of a minor.
We’re told in July of 2023, Vangorder sexually abused a minor under the age of 13.
Sentencing was deferred pending a mandatory pre-sentence investigation and mental health assessment. His pre-trial release was revoked, and he was taken into custody pending sentencing.
