Three arrested following investigation into “nuisance” residence in Frankford

FRANKFORD, Del. – A several-months-long investigation led to three arrests in Frankford Tuesday morning.

Just after 6 a.m., members of the DSP Special Operations Response Team, Sussex County Governor’s Task Force, and Sussex County Drug Unit executed a search warrant on a residence in the 30000 block of Armory Road. Police say this residence had become a nuisance due to the involvement of multiple individuals in drug distribution and violent crimes. There had reportedly been fatal drug overdoses, assaults, and incidents involving firearms at the residence.

During the search, detectives made contact with three people involved in drug distribution, identified as 41-year-old Douglas Wilkerson, 23-year-old Jaiheim Curtis, and 51-year-old Daniel Prouse. During the search, police found a handgun, approximately 3.19 grams of suspected crack cocaine, approximately 79.33 grams of cocaine, approximately 180 bags of suspected heroin, approximately 69 doses of Ecstasy, drug paraphernalia, ammunition, and over $600 in suspected drug money.

All three were arrested on numerous firearm and drug charges. Wilkerson was released on a $5,500 unsecured bond, while Curtis and Prouse were both held at SCI.
