Strong armed robbery under investigation in Pocomoke

POCOMOKE, Md. – An investigation is underway following a strong armed robbery in Pocomoke.

The incident occurred at around 9 a.m. at the Advance Auto Parts store in Pocomoke City. Police say the same suspects in this incident also committed two robberies in Accomack County a short time before traveling to Maryland.

The suspects reportedly did not have weapons and fled back into Accomack County, where deputies engaged in a vehicle pursuit with the suspects. We’re told they have since abandoned the vehicle and are on foot, no longer mobile to strike any other businesses.
