Stephen Decatur Seahawks celebrate W at OC Christmas parade

OCEAN CITY, Md. – The Stephen Decatur High School football team celebrated their big win at the Ocean City Christmas parade.

After taking home the W Thursday night at the state championships, the team took to the streets to celebrate with excited community members.

Junior player, Anthony Burke, said winning state was great, but doing it alongside his teammates was even better. He looks forward to hopefully taking home another title next year.

“Feeling great. A lot of hard work put into it, and it all paid off,” Burke said. “A lot of great teammates that are leaving that we’re going to miss, and it just felt great to win it with all my friends and hopefully next year we can, too.”
