Six Md. organizations to receive funding through USDA Rural Development Housing Preservation Grant Program

MARYLAND – Six organizations in the State of Maryland are slated to receive grants through the USDA Rural Development Housing Preservation Grant Program to provide eligible homeowners with grants and/or low-interest loans for critical home repairs.

The following Delmarva organizations have been announced as recipients:

  • Maryland Rural Development Corporation – $70,000 to serve 41 households in Caroline, Queen Anne’s, and Talbot Counties
  • Shore Up Incorporated – $50,000 to serve four households in Somerset, Wicomico, and Worcester Counties
  • Habitat Wicomico County – $70,000 to serve 35 households in Somerset and Wicomico Counties
