Salvation Army’s angel tree program

SALISBURY, Md. – Every year ahead of the holidays, the Salvation Army registers around 1,500 kids to get toys and holiday gifts that for low income families.

Angels are still available for adoption.

Salvation army officials say 150 kids are still up for adoption by community members and businesses, who in no small way, help deliver the magic and message of Christmas to those in need.

“One of the great things about angel tree is we try to provide toys, an outfit and a winter coat during this time and many of them look forward to that.”

If you are looking to help a kid with a gift for the holidays, visit the Salvation Army’s Facebook page to purchase a toy online.
