Salisbury takes Third Friday indoors to support local businesses

SALISBURY, Md. – Third Friday went into hibernation for the winter, but the city still wants you to come out and enjoy the ongoing fun.

This Friday, local business owners will welcome folks into their stores for an artsy third Friday event.

Black water apothecary will host a Witchy Wreath Workshop. Meanwhile, Board and Brush will have an open art event, where you can pick a craft to create.

Marketing and outreach manager for the city of Salisbury, Vanessa Junkin, said it’s a great way to entertain the community and drive business.

“It’s just a great time to do some holiday shopping, so we encourage everyone to come out,” Junkin said. “Third Friday will be indoors for the next few months, but it’s from 5-8pm every third Friday, and this month’s theme is December fest.”
