Polytech edges out win against Jags in day 1 of Gov. Challenge
SALISBURY, Md.– Polytech defeated Washington High in a final score of 48-40 in day 1 of the Governors Challenge.
Davain Stevenson led the way for Polytech with 27 total points. He shot 11-16 from the field, 3-6 from 3 point land, and 13 total rebounds.
Colin Chappel was behind him with 13 total points. Chappel shot 5-11, 2-7 from 3, and 4 total rebounds.
The top scorer for the Jags was Elijah Thomas. Thomas shot 8-10 and finished with 22 points. He finished 1-2 from 3 and shot 50% from the free-throw line.
