One dead, another injured in Dover shooting

DOVER, Del. – A shooting that claimed the life of one and injured another Thursday night is under investigation.

At around 8:45 p.m., Dover Police responded to the unit block of Ann Avenue for a reported shooting, arriving at the scene to find two victims suffering from gunshot wounds to the upper body. Both victims were taken to the hospital for treatment.

One of the victims, a 42-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the hospital. The second victim, a 59-year-old man, is listed in stable condition at this time.
