Maryland man sentenced for sexually abusing teen

WORCESTER CO., Md. – A Maryland man has been sentenced to over two decades for sexually abusing a minor.

29-year-old Alvin Redmon Jr. was sentenced last week to a total of 25 years behind bars after being found guilty in July of sex abuse of a minor.

The charges stem from a complaint that the victim originally reported to authorities in Calvert County, Maryland, in November 2021. Further investigation revealed that the abuse had taken place over the course of several years and in multiple jurisdictions, including in Ocean City. We’re told the victim was 15 years old at the time of the abuse in Ocean City.
