Kent Island loses tough one to South River
PRINCESS ANNE, MD.– South River defeated Kent Island in a final score of 54-32 on day 2 of the Governors Challenge.
The downfall for the Lady Bucs in this contest was their shooting percentage from the field. They finished with 11-33 from the field while South River shot 22-56.
Top scorer for South River was Skylar Woodyard with 17 points. She shot 7-15 from the field, 3-9 from the 3 point line, and also 3 steals.
Top scorer for the Bucs was Sydney Riska with 12 points. She shot 4-5 from the field, and 4-9 from the free throw line.
