Henlopen boys basketball draft results

SALISBURY, Md. – During Friday night’s Delmarva Sports Insider, anchors Brandon Bossert and Devin J. Martin selected the best players from the Henlopen Conference. Here are the results:

Brandon selects Dorell Little from Dover. A first-team all-state player with Polytech as a junior, the 6-5, 200-pound senior will now try to bring a championship home for the Senators.

Devin selects Clarence McBride-Allen from Sussex Central. An athletic big-man who punishes at the rim. Will be a force in the paint for the Golden Knights.

Devin selects Denim Perkins from Dover. Perkins is a great facilitator who can light up the stat sheet.

Brandon selects Kashmier Wise from Seaford. A deadly 3-point shooter for the Blue Jays, has one of the best spot up jump shots in the conference.

Brandon selects Darius Miller from Lake Forest. A junior, Miller is one of the top dunk artists in the area. He will play a critical role in the success of the Spartans this winter.

Devin selects Jayden Dukes from Cape Henlopen. Brings an aggressive mindset on both sides of the ball. Dukes had put on some size since last season, and can shoot from almost anywhere.

Devin selects Rashad Hopkins from Indian River. An underrated big man for the Indians, he contributed 18 points in their opener against Woodbridge, expect more games like that from the senior.

Brandon selects Obi Coleman from Smyrna. Dominant in the paint with a smooth jump shot, Coleman brings size and a formidable presence to the court.

Brandon selects Jackson Starkey from Lake Forest. Starkey has been known for his jump shot for years in Felton.

Devin selects David Maker from Sussex Central. Maker made a name for himself in the Kent County summer league, and will be a difference maker for the Knights this winter.

Devin selects Isaiah Giles from Woodbridge. A 6-foot-3 forward, he has been on varsity since his freshman year, but he showed signs of a breakout campaign in the Blue Raiders 40-point win over IR with 17 points.

Brandon selects Jameson Tingle from Cape Henlopen. The freshman has already shown that he is great at tracking down rebounds, and plays with aggression. He should continue to improve as the season goes on and be a key force in the backcourt for the Vikings.
