Good Morning Delmarva Discusses the Mega Adoption Event

47ABC – The Brandywine Valley SPCA is hosting their December Mega Adoption event this weekend, December 9th and 10th!

Shelters from over four different states will have dogs and cats available for only 35 dollars.

Sara Smith, the Director of communications for the Brandywine Valley SPCA, says they are hoping to break their July record of adopting almost 15 hundred animals.

If you would like for your current pet to meet your potential new one, certain shelters will help with dog meets, but they don’t allow dog and cat meets.

Smith tells us you can still sign up to volunteer at the event and spread the word. You can also get a fast pass online for early access on Saturday so you can get your first pick.
