Golden Knights survive late CSD comeback
SALISBURY, Md.– Sussex Central defeated Cambridge South-Dorchester in a final score of 54-48 on Wednesday night during day 2 of the Governors Challenge.
It was a low scoring affair in the beginning of the game as it was only 9-7 CSD after 1 quarter of play. The Golden Knights began to take over in the 2nd quarter by outscoring CSD 20-10.
Top scorer for Sussex Central was David Maker with 17 points. He shot 3-6 from the field while also going 10-10 from the free throw line.
Top scorer for CSD was Jaden Harris with 15 points. He shot 6-9 from the field while also recording 9 rebounds.
