Delaware Law Enforcement Memorial in Dover

DOVER, Del. – Those who have lost family members or loved ones in the line of duty, will gather to remember fallen law enforcement officers this weekend.

The Delaware Law enforcement memorial will have a Christmas themed blue light vigil on Sunday, December 3rd at 7:00 p.m.

Susan Calhoun, whose husband lost his life in the line of duty, says it’s a time for survivors to come together with the law enforcement community and join together in solidarity to have some time to share laughter and tears.

“The holidays can be very difficult, so we like to let each other know that we suffer together, that you are not alone and that we are always here to support each other if and when something comes up for you.”

You do not need to have had a family member in law enforcement to attend the memorial.

Anyone who is going through personal struggles or wants to show support to those who serve are welcome to attend.
