Bolden nails game winner against Dover
SALISBURY, Md.– Decatur defeated Dover in a final score of 53-52 in the final day of the Governors Challenge.
Dover dominated the first quarter by outscoring Decatur 18-8. The Seahawks flipped the narrative in the 2nd quarter by holding the Senators to just 4 points. It came down to the final seconds of the 4th quarter to decide the winner as Careen Bolden nailed a step-back mid range jumper to seal the win for Decatur.
Top scorer for Decatur was a Davin Chandler with 16 points. He shot 7-11 from the field, 2-2 from the free throw line, and 4 rebounds.
Top scorer for Dover was Dorell Little with 20 points. He shot 8-19 from the field, 4-5 from the free throw line, and 5 rebounds.
