Barn Hill Preserve unveils name change and rebranding plans for 2024
FRANKFORD, Del. – Barn Hill Preserve in Delaware has announced a big change for 2024, a complete rebranding of the park.
“We will be known as Coastal Wilds, which is a totally new name,” says Zach Bova, Barn Hill Preserve/Coastal Wilds Brand Manager. “We’ll have a whole new logo, a whole new look and feel to all of our branding, new signage in the park.”
Officials say the Coastal Wilds theme more closely connects with the community and the most popular animals in the park.
“We just want to be able to have a brand that the local community can connect to and so when you think about the name that we have currently right now, Barn Hil Preserve, there are no hills in Delaware,” says Josh Mueller, Barn Hill Preserve/Coastal Wilds Owner. “The Coast life is really big here.”
The preserve not only houses exotic animals, but also hosts education programs and conservation initiatives. While they say they get a lot of locals who come back year after year, they also want to try and reach more people.
“One thing that we’re really trying to do is get more big community events that we can offer throughout the year when we are open that, you know, have a lower ticket price so that way maybe more people are able to come out and visit,” says Mueller.
The owner also tells us some new animals could be coming to the park but that announcement won’t happen until closer to April. Their official new logo will be unveiled next week on social media. Officials also promise any gift cards or experiences purchased under the Barn Hill Preserve name will still be honored in 2024.
