Vehicle pursuit leads to arrest of Harrington man

Harrington, De- On November 17th just after 3:15 p.m. patrolmen with the Milford Police Department observed 58 year old Matthew Satterfield of Harrington Delaware at the Royal Farms located at 566 South Dupont Highway in Milford.

The officers were aware that he had multiple felony warrants and capias out for his arrest, and attempted to initiate a traffic stop which Satterfield allegedly failed to pull over for.

Satterfield then led officers on a vehicle pursuit which ended in the area of Staytonville Road in Harirngton, where he then attempted to flee on foot.

He was later detained inside his residence after was located by Delaware State Police and the Milford Police Department’s K9 unit.

Satterfield is being charged with disregarding a police officer signal, resisting arrest, and several other traffic related charges.

He was also formally charged with four separate felony warrants that were issued by Delaware State Police.
