Salisbury woman charged with assault for kicking police officer

SALISBURY, Md. – A Salisbury woman is being charged with assault in the second degree after attacking a police officer.

Police say she was put under arrest after violation of a court order. During her arrest, police say she starting kicking the officer.

The officer sustained no injuries, and because of this, she is not being charged with assault on a police officer.

Her name is being withheld at this time.
