Portion of Nanticoke Avenue in Seaford to close for railroad maintenance

SEAFORD, Del. – Delmarva Central Railroad Forces will resurface and perform general maintenance of the crossing at Nanticoke Avenue starting this week.

Starting at 5 a.m. Wednesday, November 15th, Nanticoke Avenue will be fully closed.

Detours will be as follows:

• Southbound: Nanticoke Avenue to S. Porter Street to Harrington Street to Noname Road, back to Nanticoke Avenue
• Northbound: Nanticoke Avenue to Noname Road to Harrington Street to S. Porter Street, back to Nanticoke Avenue.

Work is expected to be complete no later than Monday, November 20th.
