Pocomoke falls short of three-peat against South Carroll

BURTONSVILLE, Md. – Pocomoke fell just short of their goal to win a third straight field hockey title, losing to South Carroll, 2-1, Saturday afternoon.

Natalie Norfolk got the Warriors on the board with a first half tally. Unfortunately for Pocomoke, scoring chances would be few and far between for the rest of the afternoon.

South Carroll eventually tied and took the lead with under five minutes to play.
