Overnight house fire under investigation in Caroline Co.

RIDGELY, Md. – An investigation is underway following a late night house fire in Caroline County.

The fire was reported shortly after midnight at a house in the 12000 block of Crouse Mill Road. Firefighters were able to control the blaze in approximately 20 minutes.

State fire investigators are working to determine the cause and origin of the blaze, which caused an estimated $20,000 in damage. No injuries were reported.
