Officials to meet to discuss Buckingham Elementary School capitol project

WORCESTER COUNTY, Md. – The battle for Buckingham continues, and parents are voicing their concerns on the project.

Tomorrow, the Worcester County Board of Education will be hosting a meeting, where members will vote on an item in their capital inclusion plan.

Brian Robertson, a parent of a Buckingham Elementary School student, said officials should vote for the addition, because the students of the school deserve a better environment to learn in.

“The resources in the building are just becoming obsolete and students at that school are getting a completely different experience that the kids in neighboring towns,” Robertson said.

The meeting will be held at 10AM tomorrow. 47ABC will be following any developments.
