Salisbury, Md- The Shore Gives More’s Giving Tuesday event is now just over a week away on November 28th, and ahead of the event we are taking some time to spotlight some of the local non-profits taking part in the event.

One of the groups taking part is the Salisbury Paramedic Foundation.

The Salisbury Paramedic Foundation is a newly founded non-profit, whose mission is to provide additional support to the Salisbury Fire Department.

We spoke to one of the founders of the group, Robert Frampton, who spoke more on the goals of the foundation: “The paramedic foundation is designed to provide funding outside of government approved funding. For training, (and) for special programs throughout the community… They’re also looking to provide funding for the purchase of equipment for the Salisbury Fire Department and various other fire departments in the area for equipment that will be above and beyond what might be a minimum. So that we can provide exceptional care.”

If you are interested in making a donation to the Salisbury Paramedic Foundation, or any of the other non-profits that are participating in giving Tuesday, you can do so at shoregivesmore.org.

While the event doesn’t officially kick off until the 28th, early donations opened up on Monday.
