47ABC – It’s National Apprenticeship Week which means leaders in different fields such as government, education, and labor will come together to showcase the importance of Apprenticeship.

Through various activities across the state, leaders will address workforce challenges and how these opportunities help the economy.

Yvette Diamond, a Maryland Apprenticeship Connector, sat down with us to discuss what apprenticeship truly entails.

Diamond also debunked a few myths about apprenticeship and the success it’s had in rural parts of Maryland.
