Free flu shots for veterans in Salisbury and Seaford

In honor of Veterans Day, TidalHealth is offering free flu shots to all veterans and their spouses this Friday. The free vaccinations will start at 11:30 a.m. and end at 1:30 p.m. in the afternoon.

The event will take place at the American Legion in Salisbury. As a veteran working for Tidal health, Kathryn Fiddle says that the previous experience that veterans bring home to the workforce are valuable skills and making sure that everyone takes preventative measures to say healthy is important.

“Preventive care is critically important. Often folks struggle to get flu shots and other things. Veterans day is important, we know it is veterans day for many people.”

If you are a veteran and cannot make the flu shot event in Salisbury, you are still in luck. There will be another free flu shot event on the 11th at the same time located at the America legion in Seaford.
