DSU announces Alzheimer’s research funding
DOVER, Del. – Delaware State University announced a half-a-million dollar donation in support of Alzheimer’s research.
The money comes from the Paul H. Boerger Fund of the Delaware Community Foundation. The funding will support a project developing new models of neurodegeneration that mimics the pathology and memory deficits associated with Alzheimer’s disease. It will also help students and researchers develop as scientists.
