DSP investigating Dover Walmart robbery
DOVER, Del. – Delaware State Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect wanted for robbery.
Just after 8 p.m. Monday, troopers were called to the Walmart at 36 Jerome Drive, Dover, for a reported robbery. It was learned that an unknown man had approached an employee at the Money Services desk and demanded money while implying that he had a firearm. The suspect then fled in a silver Nissan Altima after stealing an unknown amount of cash.
The suspect is described as an older man of average height and weight. He was last seen wearing a green jacket, black knit hat, grey Under Armour hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, white sneakers, and a surgical face mask. The Nissan has damage to the rear on the right passenger side and has an unknown temporary registration.
