Drug investigation leads to multiple charges for Dover man

DOVER, Del. – A Dover man is behind bars following an investigation Wednesday evening.

Just after 5 p.m., an officer was conducting a firearms investigation on a subject, identified as 22-year-old Tyrese Bailey, when the officer made contact with Bailey in the area of South New Street and West Reed Street. Officers located a .22 Caliber Rifle concealed inside Bailey’s jacket, leading to a further search that resulted in the recovery of 54.1 grams of marijuana, 154 bags of heroin, and 1.3 grams of crack cocaine.

Bailey was held at SCI on a $152,200 cash bail on a list of drug and firearm charges.
