Delmarva athletes sign National Letters Of Intent

SALISBURY, Md. – Student-athletes across Delmarva are signing letters of intent to play collegiate sports. It’s a highly anticipated day for many who are committing to the next step in their athletic journeys.

Seaford’s Jazonte Levan signed to run track for the University of Southern California.

Jordyn Bunting, Baylie Phillips, and Emily Bitters from Delmar Field Hockey signed letters of intent to continue playing field hockey.

Bunting will be heading to Wingate University, Phillips will be heading to Appalachian State University and Emily Bitters will play for  Shippensburg University.

Smyrna’s Halle Geiger signed her letter of intent for Drexel University’s field hockey Program.

Cape Henlopen saw 18 of their athletes sign on Thursday.

Track and field runner Joey DeGregory signs on to run for Salisbury University.

The field hockey team is sending a number of players off to prestigious programs. Hannah Money will play by University of Iowa, Grace Wiggins will play with University of Richmond, and Devon Degregory will styay local and play for the Gulls. Addy Bassile signs on with Ohio University.

Jack Schell (Syracuse), Landon Diehl (University of Mary Washington), Hannah Abel (Catawba College), Montana Jones (West Chester University), Michael Guenther (St. Leo), Anderson Smith (St. Leo), Carrie Clausius (University of Tampa), Anna Sullivan (Stetson University), Anna Lopez (College of William and Mary), Lulu Rishko (Virginia Tech), and Lexi Nowakowski (Vanderbilt University) will all continue to play lacrosse.

Brian Fleming (Virginia Commonwealth University), and Gage Joseph (University of Delaware) will continue to play baseball.
