Crash leaves two dead in Accomack Co.

ACCOMACK CO., Va. – Virgina State Police are currently investigating a crash that left two dead yesterday.

According to police, Augusto Aguilar was driving a Mazda on Lankford Highway before swerving into the incoming traffic’s lane.

This resulted in Aguilar hitting a Frieghtliner head-on.

Aguilar’s 17-year-old daughter, who was a rear seat passenger, died on impact.

Both Aguilar and his wife, Maria Aguilar, were taken to the hospital for their injuries.

Aguilar’s wife, who was the front seat passenger, had no life-threatening injuries. Aguilar later died from his.

The driver of the Frieghtliner, Ervin Mizriky, was also taken to a nearby hospital where he is being treated for his injuries.
