Wicomo Youth Civic Center hosts Dress for Success event
WICOMICO COUNTY, Md. – The Wicomico Youth and Civic Center brought back its dress for success event.
Because of all the donations the Wicomico Partnership organization received during its last donation collection, officials had to bring the event back for the community.
Tim Bozman, the director of Dress for Success, said because of the community’s outpouring of support, they were able to expand the program to a wider audience.
“The initial design of the program was to help people that are in recovery from addictions, and we were doing it with the Wicomico Goes Purple campaign, for the month of September,” Bozman said. “We’re trying to help people coming out of addiction, hoping to get their lives started, so these were the clothes that were donated through the community, and we’ve opened it up to the general public and, in general to people looking for employment.”
Bozman hopes to bring another Dress for Success event back to the community.
