UPDATE: Two teens injured in weekend assault in Delmar

DELMAR, Md. – Two teens were injured in a stabbing Sunday afternoon in Wicomico County.

At around 4:15 p.m., deputies with the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 8900 block of Shell Road and 8800 Block of Archid Drive in Delmar for a report of two stabbing victims. Further investigation revealed that the two juvenile male victims had gotten into an argument over a juvenile female. The argument reportedly turned physical, at which point one of the juvenile males was stabbed. The suspect then allegedly tried to flee the area, but was stabbed as he fled.

One of the teens was charged and referred to the Department of Juvenile Services.

The Sheriff’s Department confirmed the teens in the case were 17, 16 and 15-years-old.
