Trash pickup delays expected in Salisbury due to maintenance issues

SALISBURY, Md. – City of Salisbury officials say unexpected maintenance issues will result in some delays in trash pickup over the next several weeks.

We’re told trash pickup for Thursday and Friday routes in the city will be temporarily staggered. This will result in delays, with some of Thursday’s routes being picked up on Friday, and some of Friday’s routes being picked up on Saturday.

Officials say the current optimistic time frame for repairs is four weeks, however, it should be noted that repairs could take longer than anticipated.

If your trash is not collected at its usual date and time, you are asked to please leave it out for the crew to collect when they can.
