Traffic stop leads to drug arrest in Milford
MILFORD, Del. – A Milford man is behind bars on numerous charges stemming from a traffic stop Tuesday afternoon.
Shortly after 4 p.m., officers on patrol saw a black Honda Accord traveling westbound on NW 10th Street with an equipment violation. The vehicle was stopped in the Milford Wawa parking lot, and contact was made with the driver, who initially provided a false name. He was eventually identified as 35-year-old Andre Daniels.
Officers observed signs of drug use in the vehicle and obtained consent to search, locating 134.94 grams of cocaine, .49 grams of heroin, 10.42 grams of mushrooms, and $851 in cash. It was also learned that Daniels had a court capias for his arrest.
He was held on a $45,351 secured bail on a list of drug and traffic charges, as well as a $9,000 cash bail on his capias.
