Seaford scores critical 1A victory against Indian River

SEAFORD, Del. – Seaford’s defense ruled the field, as the Blue Jays downed Indian River, 23-6, Friday night at Bob Dowd Stadium.

Sophomore quarterback Vincent Evans found senior wide receiver Alex Jean alone in the end zone for a long touchdown to open the scoring during their Homecoming game.

Seaford (3-2) will battle with 2A Laurel Thursday night on the road. Indian River (3-2) has now lost two straight and will look to right the ship at home against Brandywine Friday night.
