Saturday’s 35th Sea Gull Century bicycle ride kicks off

SALISBURY, Md. – Saturday marks the 35th Sea Gull Century to take place here in Salisbury. Over 3,400 registered cyclists from thirty – four states participated in the bike ride across the shore.

Both rides went through Princess Anne.

The hundred kilometer’s terminus wrapped up in Pocomoke City, while the hundred mile finished up here in Salisbury.

Participants ages ranged as young as seven years old to 90 years old. Both the kilometer century and hundred mile century are expected to bring in $4.3 million to the communities here on the Eastern Shore.
