Salisbury officials unveil art masterplan

SALISBURY, MD. – Salisbury getting public input on a new art display at city headquarters, earlier this evening.

The city unveiled the public art master plan tonight, which aims at bringing more art to the area.

Marketing outreach coordinator, Vanessa Junkin, said more art brings a new look to the community, and also gives local artists the perfect opportunity to put their creativity on display.

“I think public art is really important; it brightens up the community- it allows artists to showcase their art and it just makes the community look great,” Junkin said. “We want to have a specific path so that there are guidelines to follow, and everyone knows what the process is.”
