Roadside memorial on display for Carter Figgs, funeral arrangements announced

 

SALISBURY, Md. – A roadside memorial has been set up in honor of #32, Carter Figgs.

The Delmar High football star was killed in a crash last Saturday in Salisbury. The memorial is set up at the site of the crash on Route 13. It includes candles set up in the number 32, the phrase “Carter’s World,” and also flowers and messages from the community.

The memorial is not the only way the community is trying to help, a GoFundMe page has also been set up to help the family with expenses. You can find that page here.

A funeral service has been planned for Figgs this Sunday. It will be held at Delmar High School with visitation starting at 11 and the funeral at 1 p.m.. A full obituary is expected to be shared here.
