Registration deadline approaching for annual ‘Shore Gives More’ campaign
DELMARVA – We’re just a month away from Giving Tuesday and local nonprofits now have just over a week to register for the 9th annual “Shore Gives More” campaign.
Over the course of 24 hours, the national online campaign allows the community to donate to nonprofits making a difference.
The Community Foundation of the Eastern Shore hosts the local initiative for organizations in Worcester, Somerset, and Wicomico counties.
The best part is that it’s completely free for any nonprofit to register. President Erica Joseph added that it’s a great way for those organizations to get their mission out to a broader audience.
“You can put your logo on there and people are going to land on those pages throughout the day. For your organization to just be present is an opportunity for outreach on that part and hopefully, some donations to come your way,” Joseph said.
The deadline for nonprofits to register is Tuesday, October 31st. To register, click here.
Donors are also able to give as much and to as many organizations as they’d like. Donors can access each nonprofit’s full profile along with the causes they support.
To date, the ‘Shore Gives More’ campaign has raised over a million dollars for local nonprofits.
