Registered sex offender arrested for entering school property in Caroline Co.

FEDERALSBURG, Md. – A registered sex offender was arrested Friday evening after he violated the conditions of his registry.

On Friday, police responded to Colonel Richardson High School after learning that a registered sex offender was present at the football game. Officers responded and located Robert Zaldivar Jr., who is a Tier One registered sex offender and is prohibited from entering a primary or secondary education facility property.

Zaldivar was held at the Caroline County Detention Center without bond.
