Queen Anne’s field hockey wins first Bayside Title

CENTREVILLE, Md.– Queen Anne’s defeated Pocomoke in a final score of 1-0 on Tuesday night in double OT to win their first ever bayside title.

Both teams had incredible defense throughout regulation. Queen Anne’s controlled most of the tempo but could not find the net.

In double OT Jordan Bilbo would be fouled in the circle and it would set up the penalty shot. Senior Faith Novak would be the one to take it and she put in the top left corner to win the game.

This is Queen Anne’s first ever bayside title for the field hockey program.
