MSP asking for public’s help in locating Salisbury man wanted for armed robbery

EDEN, Md. – Maryland State Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a man wanted for armed robbery.

The incident took place at around 7:45 p.m. on September 26th, at a variety store in the 31000 block of Eden Allen Road. Troopers met with witnesses, who reported that the robber pulled out a knife and threatened the cashier while demanding money from the register. The robber reportedly fled the area with stolen cigarettes and money from the register.

The cashier was not injured.

The suspect has been identified as 51-year-old Anthony Adkins of Salisbury. He is described as 5’9″ and about 225 pounds, and is known to frequent the Salisbury area.
