Millsboro Wawa employee charged with felony theft

MILLSBORO, Del. – A Wawa employee has been arrested on felony theft charges.

At around 6:40 a.m. Tuesday, troopers responded to the Wawa located at 24930 John J. Williams Highway in Millsboro for a theft report. It was determined that a store employee, identified as 57-year-old Michael Switzer, had been stealing cartons of cigarettes totaling $10,800 since June and was reselling them to other people.

Switzer was taken into custody at the store and charged with one count of felony theft. He was later released on his own recognizance.
