Md. man wanted in connection to attempted homicide in Lewes

LEWES, Del. – Delaware State Police are actively investigating an attempted homicide in the Lewes area.

At around 6 p.m. Sunday, troopers responded to a residence in the 31000 block of Maple Court for a report of a shooting. A 29-year-old Millsboro man was found in front of the residence suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Medical care was rendered to the victim before he was taken to a nearby hospital, where he remains in critical condition.

Through the investigation, police identified 18-year-old Lewis Cameron of Hyattsville, Maryland, as the suspect. Police have not been able to locate Cameron.
