Lower speed limits and higher fines during Cruisin week in O.C.

This week, Endless Summer Cruisin week rolls into Ocean City.

Meaning starting October 4th, more cars will be coming to the town, but they’ll have to watch their speeds for special event zone restrictions.

Between Tuesday and Sunday, drivers will have to watch out for reduced speed limits and higher fines for speeding tickets.

Ocean City Mayor Rick Meehan says, “It has been supported by the cruising event because they want to make sure their event continues to be successful and safe for everyone involved.”

The event is estimated to feature up to 2,500 cars and it will be taking place primarily at the convention center and inlet parking lots.
