House fire leaves one dead in Lewes

LEWES, Del. – Delaware State Fire Marshals are actively investigating a house fire in Lewes that left one dead early Tuesday morning.

At around 2:30 a.m., firefighters responded to the 33000 block of McNicol Road for a reported mobile home fire. When crews arrived at the scene, they found one person dead inside the home.

Investigators are still working to determine the cause of the blaze.
