Early morning armed robbery under investigation in Cambridge

CAMBRIDGE, Md. – Cambridge Police are investigating an armed robbery that took place early Thursday morning.

According to police, at around 5:45 a.m., the victim was walking to their work truck in the 600 block of Academy Street. When the victim arrived at the location of their truck, they reported that there were two men who grabbed the victim and assaulted him. It was reported that both subjects had handguns and demanded the victim’s wallet.

The suspects then fled and were last week on foot in the 700 block of Academy Street, traveling towards Washington Street.

The first suspect was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt/jacket with a face mask and black pants, while the second suspect was described as wearing a white hooded sweatshirt/jacket with a face mask and black pants.
