Dover man arrested for second time in two weeks
LAUREL, Del. – A Dover man has been arrested in Laurel for the second time in two weeks.
On October 16th, 32-year-old Roy Kolaco was arrested following a high-speed chase with Laurel Police officers. He was later released on his own recognizance.
On October 26th, Laurel Police responded to a call for a reported harassment. It was alleged in this incident that Kolaco threatened to kill the victim and damage their property, and a warrant was issued for terroristic threatening as a result. The following day, officers learned that Kolaco failed to appear at his preliminary hearing for the vehicle chase case, and a $10,000 secured bail capias was issued for his arrest.
On Monday, an officer on patrol was conducting a patrol check of the Little Creek Apartment complex when they reportedly saw Kolaco on foot. He was subsequently arrested for his multiple active warrants, at which time he was found to be in possession of .336g (47 bags) of heroin.
Kolaco was released on his own recognizance for the terroristic threatening and possession of a controlled substance charges, however, he was held at SCI on his capias.
